The artist painted white paint on off-white paper, then painted India ink over the whole page. When dry, she washed off the gouache to achieve a woodcut effect, then went over it with a fine-tipped black ink pen and with white paint. Reproduced in black and white on Crane's Crest 100% cotton 24lb paper in ivory. Published by the artist, Leonia, NJ, 1993, in an edition of 100. Printed and illustrated by the author. |
