Description |
This book was published to accompany an installation by the same name at the now-closed Museum de Paviljoens in Almere, Netherlands, from January 15 to February 28, 1999. The buildings at the site of the installation were constructed in Kassel, Germany as part of the Documenta IX exhibition in 1992, in the shape of a series of train carriages, before being moved to Almere as a contemporary art space. The installation consisted of 16 large format (220 x 96 cm) photos printed on transparent film and attached to the windows of the museum. Text in French and Dutch. Published by Flevodruk Harderwijk in an edition of 500. |
