Description |
Published in conjunction with an exhibition of works by several abstract painters who explore form, space, and color. This selection of works demonstrated various methods of "pure painting." The publication includes an introduction by gallery director Nancy Einreinhofer, an essay by curator Barbara Toll titled "Some Abstract Paintings," artist biographies, and an exhibition checklist. Exhibiting artists included Frances Barth, Bruce Boice, Howard Buchwald, David Diao, Jeremy Gilbert-Rolfe, Dennis Kardon, Elizabeth Murray, and Gary Stephan. |
